Dr. Lee Goldberg

Dr. Lee Goldberg has dedicated over two decades to providing exceptional cardiovascular care to the Tucson community, establishing his interventional cardiology practice in 2003. He has board certifications in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine.

Recognizing the significant impact of venous disease on quality of life, Dr. Goldberg has developed specialized expertise in varicose vein treatments, completing over 2,500 successful procedures in the past five years alone.

At Northwest Medical Center, Dr. Goldberg performs advanced coronary, peripheral vascular arterial, and venous interventions. His practice offers comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostic services including echocardiography, stress testing, and vascular ultrasound, ensuring thorough evaluation and personalized treatment planning for every patient.

What distinguishes Dr. Goldberg’s practice is his family-centered approach to medicine. Jennifer Ward, DNP, AGACNP-BC

Aesthetic Injector & Nurse Practitioner

A Tucson native, Jennifer Ward brings extensive critical care expertise and advanced clinical training to her work in aesthetic medicine. Her nursing career began in intensive care, where she developed a specialization in cardiology and a deep commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Jennifer earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with distinction in Adult-Gerontology and Acute Care from the University of Arizona. Her doctoral research focused on transitional care interventions to reduce hospital readmissions among heart failure patients, reflecting her dedication to improving long-term patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

This foundation in critical care medicine informs DNP Ward’s approach to aesthetic treatments, combining clinical precision with an understanding of the whole patient. She is committed to treatments that enhance confidence while supporting overall wellbeing, allowing patients to live life at their fullest potential.

Outside the practice, Jennifer enjoys exploring Arizona’s natural beauty through hiking, traveling to new destinations, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Melissa

Melissa Viapando

MA, ME, CLT, LSO – Practice Manager

Melissa discovered her passion for skincare in 2001 while managing a high-end beauty retail store. She became a licensed esthetician in 2009 and continued advancing her expertise with Medical Aesthetics certification in Atlanta in 2011.

In 2012, Melissa opened her own skincare practice offering facials, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, waxing, and lash extensions. Her dedication to medical aesthetics led her to earn Medical Assistant certification in 2015, after which she joined Dr. Lee Goldberg’s cardiology practice while continuing her skincare work evenings and weekends.

Melissa has since earned certifications as a Certified Laser Technician (CLT), Laser Safety Officer (LSO), and holds specialized training in microneedling and non-invasive body sculpting.

When Dr. Goldberg envisioned expanding into medical aesthetics, Melissa’s background made her the perfect partner. Together they founded Vein & Aesthetics of Tucson, where Melissa delivers genuine care to every patient interaction.

Wendy Goldberg

Practice Manager

Wendy serves as Practice Manager for both the cardiology and Vein & Aesthetics of Tucson offices, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and operational leadership to the family practice. With an educational background in Health and Exercise Science, she built her career in cardiology through hospital and clinical support roles before making a pivotal decision in early 2006.

That year, Wendy left her position to help Dr. Goldberg establish his private cardiology practice, serving as both medical assistant and office manager. Her dual role allowed the practice to flourish with the personal attention and meticulous care that became its hallmark. Today, Wendy seamlessly moves between administrative leadership and hands-on clinical support across both practices, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care.

As Dr. Goldberg’s wife and mother to their two daughters, Wendy brings genuine heart to the family-owned practice. Her investment isn’t just professional, it’s personal. This commitment to excellence and authentic care defines the culture at Vein & Aesthetics of Tucson, where patients are treated like family because, quite simply, that’s exactly who we are.

Ginger Butler, RN

Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Ginger Butler has dedicated over 20 years to the art of aesthetic medicine, helping men and women feel confident and naturally beautiful in their own skin. With experience spanning both dermatology and plastic surgery practices, she brings a comprehensive understanding of skin health and aesthetic principles to every treatment, always honoring each person’s unique features and goals.

Her philosophy is simple but profound: create “their” look, not “the” look. Every face tells a story, and Ginger approaches each patient as an individual, crafting treatments that enhance rather than transform.

A Tucson native, Ginger’s healthcare journey began at age 15 and led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arizona. Her nursing career has been wonderfully diverse, from the Emergency Rooms at TMC and Northwest Hospital to management roles, oncology, wound and skin care, outpatient services, and pain management. Through it all, she discovered her true calling in medical aesthetics, where clinical expertise meets artistry.

What Ginger loves most is building genuine relationships with her patients, creating a space of trust where fears dissolve and confidence flourishes. She delights in those moments when patients see their results for the first time, noticing subtle changes that make a profound difference. Known for her gentle touch and warm presence, Ginger is committed to helping you look like the best version of yourself, naturally radiant and beautifully confident.

Jackie Kindberg

Jackie Kindberg brings over two decades of comprehensive medical billing expertise to Vein & Aesthetics of Tucson, with specialized experience in cardiology practice management. Since entering the medical billing field in 2005, she has maintained a commitment to professional development through ongoing education in medical billing and coding seminars.

Her extensive skill set includes accounts receivable management, account aging analysis, procedure prior authorization, and front office operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and clinical support services such as Holter monitor placement and EKG administration.

Prior to her medical billing career, Jackie spent ten years in periodontal office management, where she developed expertise in patient relations, customized payment plan coordination, dental billing operations, and comprehensive accounts management. Her professional foundation includes eleven years as a department manager at Fry’s Food Stores, where she honed her leadership and operational management capabilities.

Jackie’s approach to practice administration reflects her belief that exceptional patient care extends beyond clinical treatment to encompass every aspect of the patient experience. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring the outdoors through camping and travel with family and friends.

Morgan

Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

Morgan brings precision, compassion, and a genuine commitment to patient care to her role as a vascular technologist at Old Pueblo Cardiology and Vein & Aesthetics of Tucson. She performs diagnostic ultrasounds of the arterial and venous systems, providing the detailed imaging that guides accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans for vein conditions including varicose veins and venous insufficiency.

A graduate of West Coast Ultrasound Institute in Phoenix, Morgan earned her bachelor’s degree and achieved both ARDMS (Abdomen) and RVT certifications within one year of graduation—a testament to her dedication and clinical aptitude. With four years of experience as a vascular technologist, her expertise spans general ultrasound, superficial venous imaging, and OB/GYN ultrasound from her time at the Veterans Hospital.

Morgan’s approach combines technical excellence with a warm, reassuring presence that helps patients feel comfortable during their procedures. She understands that behind every scan is a person seeking answers and relief, and she’s committed to making that experience as positive as possible.

Outside the office, Morgan enjoys an active lifestyle—playing volleyball, working out at the gym, and exploring Tucson’s outdoors with her dog. Her energy and enthusiasm for life carry over into her patient care, where she brings both skill and heart to every interaction.
